1 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice (store-bought or homemade)
1 can (15 oz or 425g) pumpkin puree (not pumpkin pie filling)
1 ½ cups (300g) granulated sugar
3 large eggs
1 cup (240g) canola oil (or other neutral oil like vegetable, grapeseed, or avocado oil)
Optional Topping:
½ cup (85g) butterscotch chips (ensure they are gluten-free)

Mix the Dry Ingredients:
