Ingredients:
1 kg of paprika
6 finely chopped garlic cloves
A few peppercorns (to taste)
3 bay leaves (one per jar)
1 teaspoon of sugar per jar
2 teaspoons of salt per jar (iodized or sea salt)
4 tablespoons of 9% alcoholic vinegar per jar
Boiling water
Instructions:
Prepare the Paprika: Wash the paprika thoroughly, remove the stems and seeds, and cut them into fillets. If you find any damaged parts, remove them.
Fill the Jars: Arrange the paprika fillets in sterilized jars. You should be able to fill approximately three jars with 1 kg of paprika.
Add the Flavor: Distribute the chopped garlic, peppercorns, and one bay leaf per jar.
Season the Salad: Add 1 teaspoon of sugar and 2 teaspoons of salt to each jar.
Add the Vinegar: Pour 4 tablespoons of 9% alcoholic vinegar into each jar.
Seal with Boiling Water: Carefully pour boiling water over the ingredients, filling the jars to the top.
Close and Shake: Seal the jars tightly with clean lids. To mix the ingredients well, shake the jars gently. Wrap them in a cloth while shaking to avoid burns.
Cool and Store: Turn the jars upside down and allow them to cool completely. Once cooled, store them in a cool, dark place for long-lasting freshness.
